About me: I am a recently retired Professional athlete. I played ‘A’ level hockey in my teenage years and rep baseball for 10 years. Now, I am an avid gym goer and fitness enthusiast.
Special Interests: ACL rehabilitation, chronic shoulder pain and sports-related injuries. Alex graduated from the University of Toronto in 2010 and obtained her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. She also completed her Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Arts in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology at York University in 2007, graduating Suma Cum Laude. Alex is also a former personal trainer and has a strong knowledge of exercise based rehabilitation. Additionally, she has completed post-graduate courses in Acupuncture, myofascial release, taping and has finished Level 2 upper and lower of the orthopedic division manual therapy program. Alex utilizes a combination of manual therapy skills, her knowledge of biomechanics, her background in athletics and a holistic approach to assess and treat each individual.
