SARO MINASSIAN, MScPT, BAH (Kin)
Occupation: Physiotherapy Resident
About me: I am interested in continuing education for the purpose of keeping people athletic and healthy. I have also taken a keen interest in weight lifting and running injuries.
Special Interests: Saro believes in analyzing the "whole-body" as this will give more insight on the underlying cause of one's movement dysfunctions and/or discomfort. His primary areas of interest are musculoskeletal problems resulting from sports injuries and poor posture. Saro integrates functional movement patterns, motor control, manual therapy and individualized exercise programs to help patients reach their health and fitness goals. He has worked with athletes of all ages at Queen's and Trent University. During his undergraduate education, Saro was involved in concussion research affecting populations from youth to elite athletes. He currently stays up to date with new research and uses an evidence-based approach to clinical practice. Saro received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen's University in 2017 and his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology & Health Sciences from York University prior to this.
