Home / Office Biomechanical Exercise Training

GET THE RESULTS OF THE HONSBERGER BIOMECHANICAL APPROACH IN THE COMFORTS OF YOUR OWN HOME OR OFFICE!

Biomechanical balance, and an optimal state of health, is what we are all about.  It is these principles which allow us to offer the most effective patient therapies, and to achieve our outcome goal of optimal physical health.

We want to help you reach all your health and fitness goals in a safe and effective manner.   In addition, we want you to be educated about your body and the various training techniques that are presently available.

BALANCE

The difference in our personal training  programs lies in our biomechanical approach and expertise.  “Optimal Performance Through Biomechanical Balance” is the philosophy we use in  all of our training  programs.  Balance is fundamental to building an efficient body structure...

1) balance between muscular proportion,  activation, and strength and endurance.

2) balance between flexibility,  postural control, and core strength.

3) balance between aerobic and anaerobic capacities.

4) balance between proprioception and kinesthetic awareness.

GOALS

Prior to the start of your program, goals and objectives are established.  Examples of such goals include…

1) Weight Loss / Weight Gain

2) Active Rehabilitation for injury recovery or pre-surgical preparation.

3) Work and Sport-Specific Training  for improved performance.

4)   Education on Exercise.

5)   Postural Realignment and Maintenance.

6)   Adaptation to Special Needs such as osteoporosis, diabetes, and cardiovascular issues.

7)   Nutritional Consultation.

TEST/RETEST

Before any training is started, you will have a structural/biomechanical evaluation and fitness test.

In this process, digital photography will also be incorporated, to help us identify structural and biomechanical compensations, and postural deficiencies which need to be corrected.

By identifying structural and biomechanical problems and fitness deficits, a more precise and individualized training program can be implemented.

In addition to our initial evaluation, regular retesting will be done using our “Performance Health Index” scale.  This scale helps our clients chart their  progress and see the improvements they are making.  This allows for a more accurate and structured approach towards goal achievement.
