REBECCA (BECKY) SARJEANT

About me: While at ASU on a golf scholarship, Becky received numerous scholastic and athletic awards during her four year duration, including the Terri Gwinn Scholar Athlete Award, Sunbelt Conference Individual medalist honors and was named to the Sunbelt Conference's All Time Women's Golf Team. Becky has worked with a variety of sports teams during her career including men's rugby, collegiate volleyball, soccer, badminton and women's fast pitch, Jr A. Hockey and lacrosse teams as well as being the Athletic Therapist for Team Scotland at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. Married to a "Hockey Husband", and raising two very active and healthy sons, Becky is actively involved in sports and rehabilitation for people of all ages.
Special Interests: Becky has over 12 years of both clinical and field experience in Athletic Therapy and Massage Therapy. She first completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Arkansas State University. Becky is also a graduate of the Sports Injury Management Program at Sheridan College and earned her Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Ontario College of Health and Technology. In recent years Becky has completed a wide range of courses including TMJ, Mild Traumatic Brain Injury, Sports Massage Therapy, Rock Taping, and Vertigo Assessment and Treatment. Becky has worked with a variety of athletes ranging from weekend warriors to scholarship athletes.
Becky is an energetic and passionate health care professional. Treating holistically, she connects with patients and realizes the importance of the brain- emotional and physical stress and its effects on the body. Her experience as a former scholarship athlete allows her to understand the many aspects of sports training, rehabilitation and performance. She has a strong interest in golf, hockey, lacrosse and women's and children's health and wellness.
